With the cost of living crisis hitting communities hard, events such as ‘Keep Warm, Keep Well and Carry On’ are a crucial way to help share vital information. Advocates Sarah, Charlie and Paula were at the Gannow House community event on 28th November in Burnley.
They shared information about our Benefits Advocacy Service, which provides free support for Lancashire residents for PIP/ WCA assessments and appeals, as well as help with forms for certain benefits. We have some short-term funding from Lancashire County Council to help people complete PIP, WCA/ESA/UC50, Attendance Allowance (AA) and Child DLA forms.
Paula said, ’It was brilliant to hear from people working together to support those who need it most.’
If you, or someone you know, need advice on benefits, please get in touch! Whilst we provide in person/ telephone support in Lancashire, we also have our digital downloads available for everybody.
