ICANN need two additional full time Advocates to join our team
37 hours (Job share applicants considered)
Salary: £25,874 -£27,799 (Pay Award pending)
We are looking for two hardworking, motivated, and enthusiastic individuals to work across Lancashire, on a range of projects including our Benefits Assessment & Appeals Advocacy Service.
The successful applicants will be responsible for:
- Providing one to one advocacy support to clients in the community, online, over the telephone and the associated administrative duties.
- Promoting ICANN and our projects
- Delivering training to students, volunteers and other VCFS organisations
- Engaging in new business development opportunities
Ideally, you will have some advocacy experience, be a good listener, and are able to speak up for others who are disadvantaged, have a disability, mental health issues or are vulnerable due to illness or other circumstances.
Appropriate training will be provided which may include progression to achieving the National Advocacy Qualification.
